The land identification committee has been established to identify potential sites for the development of permanent facilities benefiting the Atlanta Renegades and the entire rugby community in Atlanta. Ideally, the site would accommodate at least two fields and a clubhouse in various configurations. The initial focus would be on the land acquisition with subsequent efforts to add improvements. The committee is fortunate to have several developers with the relevant skills and experience to vet potential sites, negotiate purchase and sale agreements, perform appropriate diligence, procure debt, and close. The search includes sites sufficient to accommodate the rugby facilities and sites that could be developed for multiple uses (Athletic, Multifamily, Hotel, retail). The committee is in place and active, but our success is 100% dependent on the fundraising efforts.
