The Atlanta Renegades Rugby Football Club was founded in 1971 by a small group of athletes dedicated to the game of rugby. The aspirations of the club were not great; in fact at that time there were no club championships, select sides, territorial sides or national side. The Club Philosophy was simply to WORK HARD, PLAY WELL and HAVE FUN.
Brotherhood
Every Renegade has your back. We build lasting friendships through hard work, shared battles, and a commitment to each other on and off the pitch.
Physicality
Rugby is a game of toughness, discipline, and controlled aggression. We embrace the challenge and compete with intensity every time we take the field.

I joined the Atlanta Renegades in February 2026, just weeks after moving to the U.S. from the UK. After reaching out on Instagram and meeting a few guys from the club, I quickly became part of the brotherhood. Since then, I’ve traveled with the team and built friendships that go far beyond rugby.
