The Atlanta Renegades Rugby Football Club was founded in 1971 by a small group of athletes dedicated to the game of rugby. The aspirations of the club were not great; in fact at that time there were no club championships, select sides, territorial sides or national side. The Club Philosophy was simply to WORK HARD, PLAY WELL and HAVE FUN.

Every Renegade has your back. We build lasting friendships through hard work, shared battles, and a commitment to each other on and off the pitch.

Rugby is a game of toughness, discipline, and controlled aggression. We embrace the challenge and compete with intensity every time we take the field.

Whether it’s league matches, tournaments, or rivalry games, the Renegades are built to compete. We play hard, stay accountable, and leave everything on the pitch.

The Renegades are more than a rugby club. We are a community of players, supporters, alumni, and families united by a shared passion for the game.
The Atlanta Renegades have never measured success solely by wins and losses. The club’s legacy has been built through decades of hard-fought matches, championship runs, fierce rivalries, and players who proudly represented Atlanta wherever they competed. From local battles to national stages, the Renegades have earned a reputation as one of Georgia’s most respected and hard-nosed rugby clubs.
