***4 Selected from USA Rugby South to Philippine Barbarians for New York Sevens*** 4 players belonging to the South territory have been selected to represent the North American / European branch of the Philippine National 7s team. Austin Dacanay, already a member of the Philipipines National 15s and 7s sides and current coach of the South men's 7s team, will act as a coach and player for this tournament. With his influence and without an appearance in the 2009 NASC's, he was able to open a few spots on the international roster for his representative players. The other South players selected are: Seth Kolka, Nashville. The current captain of the South men's 7s side will be a welcome edition to this year's tournament with the total package of size, speed, experience and leadership. Roderigus Caesar, Atlanta Renegades. This speedster will once again impress all in attendance, as he is the lone returner from the South to the Philippines Barbarians. Matt McGinnis, Tampa Krewe. He is a newcomer that impressed during the Sushine State games and during the Cape Fear 7s. This will serve as a good introduction to the South men's 7 side for him.
