The link below is to an article in the New York Times about the Hyde School rugby program in Washington D.C.. This all-black inner-city high school rugby team is attracting lots of attention for breaking down racial and social barriers, and the man responsible for it all is none other than former Renegade Tal Bayer, who played for the Atlanta Renegades from 1993-1997.
This article is just another testament to the quality of the people affiliated with the Atlanta Renegades and the impact that we continue to make on the sport as well as on our communities.
