The Atlanta Renegades Rugby Football Club have become established as one of the premier men's rugby clubs in the Southern United States. Established in 1971, the Renegades' first squad competes in Division 1 USA Rugby South and concluded the 2008-2009 season ranked 4th in the country in the USA Rugby National Championships., and in 2006 finished 7th in the country. Players from our club have been recognized nationally and selected for various All-Star and national representative teams.
The Renegades are always welcoming new members - regardless of experience. We take pride in competing at a national level, with primarily local and homegrown talent. Unlike most clubs that compete at this level, we do NOT pay our players or recruit mercenaries. We focus on building a true club atmosphere, which promotes a culture of camaraderie and family amongst our players, friends, and supporters.
